Commissioned by the William Morris Gallery for the forthcoming exhibition, Morris Mania.
Wallpaper explores how William Morris’ designs have been used in screen history. A montage of scenes from film and TV reveals the diverse and sometimes surprising range of narratives, settings and moods that Morris designs conjure up. From musicals such as My Fair Lady to realist dramas such as Sunday Bloody Sunday, genre blending works such as Django Unchained and Mrs America, to soap operas like Coronation Street and comedies such as Peep Show, Morris designs form part of the fabric of 20th and 21st century popular culture.

The film captures the journey of a group of 25 international museum workers coming to SOAS. We witness their educational process and challenges they face from day one in London to the last day when SOAS announces 10 grantees to finish the MA Museum studies course on a full scholarship.
